Pressure cook for 2 whistles. Let the pressure come down naturally.
You can also boil bananas in an open pan , it takes about 15 minutes.
Once the pressure comes down, open the lid and take out the bananas.
Let the bananas cool down completely.
Meanwhile, dry roast oats on medium flame in a pan.
Let oats cool down and then grind to fine powder.
Once bananas are easy(cool) to handle, take out the peel.
Mash the boiled and peeled bananas with a fork. Please not bananas should be completely cool before adding spices else the kebab mixture will lose water.
In motor pestle coarsely crush green chilies(if using) and ginger.
Add oats flour, all the above mentioned spices(in ingredient section) and ginger green chilli paste. You can also add store bought ginger paste and finely chop chilies.
Add finely chopped cilantro leaves and then mix the mixture well.
It will be like a cookie dough. If the mixture feels a little lose then add 1-2 tbsp more oats flour.
Now shape the cutlets /kebabs. Take some portion of kebab mixture about the size lemon, make a round ball and then flatten lightly with palms.
Similarly make all the kebabs.
Optional- You can roll the cutlets in oats powder. For that take 1-2 tbsp oats powder in a dish.
Roll the cutlets nicely to coat the flour uniformly.
