Take a clean and dirt free ginger piece.
Peel it lightly using a knife.
Grate it or crush it coarsely using a mortar and pestle.
In a saucepan add 1 Cup water, keep it over medium flame.
Add grated or crushed ginger.
Let the water boil for a minute.
Now lower the flame and add tea leaves or tea bags and let it brew for another 1 min.
Now add milk and sugar, increase the flame and let the tea come to boil, then lower the flame.
Cook it for another 1 min and then strain using a tea strainer.
Serve hot with cookies or snacks of your choice.
