Cheese Chilli Toast
Restaurant Style Cheese Chilly Toast recipe | How to make Cheese Chilli Toast
- 5-6 Bread Slices
- 1 Cup Grated Cheese (Mozzarella + Cheddar)
- 2 +1 tsp + tbsp Butter
- 3-4 Garlic Cloves
- Fresh Ginger(½" piece)
- 1-2 Green Chillies or as required
- 2 tbsp Finely chopped Coriander/Cilantro optional
- 2 tbsp Finely chopped Bell Peppers optional
- 1 tsp Crushed Black Pepper
- Chilli flakes as required see notes
Make paste of ginger garlic and green chili. Use mortar pestle . You can use store bought ginger garlic paste and chop green chilies. Bu fresh ingredients give much more flavour.
In a bowl add ginger garlic and green chilli paste., cheese, 2 tsp butter, black pepper, chopped cilantro and bell peppers.
Mix all the ingredients very nicely.
Take the bread slices and cut the sides.
Apply very little butter on one side.
Cook Cheese Chilli Toast on Tawa/Griddle
Heat a griddle and lightly toast the buttered side. Keep a check on the flame, it should be low to medium else bread may burn.
Once the slices are toasted, take off from the griddle and carefully apply the cheese mixture on the toasted side.
Now again switch on the gas and lightly butter the griddle/tawa.
Carefully transfer the slices on it.
Keep the flame low and cover the slices. Cook till cheese melts.
Take of the heat. Cut diagonally.
Serve hot with your favourite coffee or milkshake.
Cheese Chilli Toast in Oven/OTG
Preheat oven to 180°C for 10 mins.
Bake toasts for 5-8 mins at 180°C.
Cut diagonally and serve hot.
