Lightly oil your hands as bananas can be sticky.
Peel the bananas using a sharp Knife.
To peel firstly cut both the ends. Then make slits on the vertical edges.
Take out the peel carefully.
Add turmeric and salt to water, soak peeled bananas.
After 10 mins take out the bananas and then completely pat dry on kitchen towel or paper tissue.
Preheat air fryer to 180°C or 200°F for 5 mins.
Cut into thin roundels and transfer to a mixing bowl using a sharp knife/mandoline or food processor.
Add oil, salt, turmeric powder and red chilli powder(if using in the recipe).
Nicely coat all the slices in oil and seasoning.
Arrange in a the air fryer basket in a single layer.
Air Fry for 12-15 mins at 180°C or 200°F.
Pause the air fryer, take out the basket and shake the air fryer so that the chips are cooked evenly.
Once done, transfer to a separate plate or dish and cool completely before storing in an air tight container.
