  • 15-20 Garlic Cloves
  • 10-12 Whole Red Chillies
  • 1 tsp Sarson Oil/Mustard Oil or use any of your choice
  • 1-2 tsp Vinegar(I used Apple Cider)/Lemon Juice
  • Salt as per taste
  • 1/4 tsp Suagr/Jaggery optional


  • Wash and soak whole dry red chillies in water for 15-20 minutes.
  • Peel and wash garlic.
  • Grind the chillies and garlic in grinder till smooth. While grinding add salt and vinegar/lemon juice. Add little water.
  • In a pan heat oil and add the chutney paste. ad sugar. Cook for 2-3 minutes. 
  • Cool and store in an airtight container.


Use 2 tbsp of Red chilli powder if you don't have whole red chillies.
