Ragi Kanji/Ragi Buttermilk
Ragi Kanji or Buttermilk very nutritious and refreshing drink that cools down the body in hot summers. A very popular summer drink in southern parts of India.

- 3 tbsp Ragi Flour
- 1+1/4 Cup Water
- 2 Glass Buttermilk see notes
- Mint/Coriander/Green Chillies for garnish skip green chillies if making for kids
Mix ragi with 1/4 cup water and make a thick paste.
In a pan heat 1 cup water, once the water starts to boil, add ragi paste, mix it well and cook it until it forms a thick and glossy mixture.
Once it cools down. mix as required in a glass of buttermilk, yogurt.
To make the sweet version add it in chilled milk or hot milk with sweetener as required.
