Kachumber Salad

Indian Kachumber Salad, with fresh cucumbers, tomatoes, onions and fresh cilantro or coriander leaves with lime/lemon juice and chaat masala dressing

- 4 Mini cucumbers
- 2 Tomatoes(Medium)
- 1 Onion(Medium)
- 2 tbsp Finely Chopped Cilantro
- Few Mint leaves optional
- 1-2 tbsp Beetroot(finely chopped or grated) optional
- 2-3 Radish optional
For Dressing
- 1-2 tbso Lemon/Lime Juice
- Chaat Masala as per taste
- Table Salt or Black Salt as per taste
- 1/4 tsp Roasted Cumin Powder optional
- Freshly Ground Black Pepper optional
Wash nicely all the salad vegetable
Cut into small cubes to keep it chunky or chop finely
Add in lime/lemon juice, chaat masala, black pepper cumin powder( if using).
Add salt if serving immediately.
Mix in cilantro leaves and mint leaves( if using)
To add add some heat, you can add finely chopped green chillies or any peppers like habanero chilli or jalapeno peppers
- You can cherry tomatoes instead of regular tomatoes
- I used red onions, if like white or yellow you can use that.
