Baked Mini Donuts
Baked Mini Donuts, with Chocolate Glaze.. a perfect treat bite-sized treat for any time for kids parties and get-togethers.

- 11/2 Cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1/2 Cup Castor Sugar
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 1/2 Cup Milk
- 1 Egg
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- 1 tbsp Vanilla Essence
Pre-heat the oven to 350F or 180C.
Melt butter in a bowl and keep it to cool.
Mix together all-purpose flour, baking soda, sugar and salt if using unsalted butter.
In another bowl, mix together egg, milk, melted butter and vanilla essence.

Pipe the batter in the donut pan and bake for 8 minutes at 350F or 180C.
When baked the donuts will the side of the pan. Don't leave the pan in the oven for long you will get dry donuts.
Cool the donuts once cooled glaze the donuts with Chocolate glaze and decorate with sprinkles.
For Chocolate donuts, follow the same recipe and instructions, only substitute 1/4 all-purpose flour with unsweetened cocoa powder. Sieve with all-purpose flour, baking powder and sugar.
The donuts can be baked in muffin pans, adjust the baking time as per the muffins size.
