Equipment

  • Mixing Bowl
  • Mixing Spoon

Ingredients
  

  • ½ Cup Milk
  • ¼ Cup Plain Yogurt/Curd
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 1-2 tbsp Raw Cane Sugar/Jaggery Powder or Candy Sugar(Mishri)
  • 1 tbsp Ghee
  • 4-5 Tulsi Leaves
  • 2 tsp Ganga Jal optional

Additional Ingredients(optional)

  • 8-10 Phool Makhana/Fox nuts Lotus Seeds
  • 4-5 Crushed Almonds or Cashew Nuts or both
  • 1 tsp Chironji
  • 1 tbsp Thinly sliced Dry Coconut or add grated Coconut
  • pinch of cardamom powder

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl add milk, curd/yogurt, sugar, honey, ghee and cardamom powder.
    ½ Cup Milk, ¼ Cup Plain Yogurt/Curd, 1 tbsp Honey, 1-2 tbsp Raw Cane Sugar/Jaggery Powder, 1 tbsp Ghee, pinch of cardamom powder
  • Powder mishri and add. You can also add fine organic sugar to it.
    1-2 tbsp Raw Cane Sugar/Jaggery Powder
  • You can also add ganga jal.
    2 tsp Ganga Jal
  • Mix nicely.
  • Add tulsi leaves.
    4-5 Tulsi Leaves
  • Dry roast makhana if you are adding it to Panchamrit.
    8-10 Phool Makhana/Fox nuts
  • Chop almonds finely and thinly slice dry coconut.
    4-5 Crushed Almonds or Cashew Nuts, 1 tbsp Thinly sliced Dry Coconut
  • After roasting cool lightly and then coarsely crush the nuts (makhana, dry coconut ) and add it to the mixture. You can add Chironji without roasting.
    1 tsp Chironji
  • Give a light stir.
  • Keep it in clean cool place or refrigerate it before serving or using it in pooja.
