Dates and Fig Rice Krispy Treats

  • 1 Cup Rice Krispies
  • 5-6 No. Figs
  • 1/2 Cup Dates
  • 1/2 Cup Walnuts
  • 1 Tbsp Chia Seeds
  • 1-2 Tbsp Almond Butter or use Coconut Oil


  • In a Food Processor,very finely chop dates and figs. 
  • Add Chia seeds and chop Walnuts finely. 
  • Add Almond Butter and and mix it nicely. 
  • Transfer the contents in a microwave safe bowl, and microwave for 30 secs, to warm up the mixture so that it is easy to bind with the rice krispies.
  • Mix in the rice krispies with mixture, bind the mixture well and transfer to a parchment paper lined pan and flatten the mixture to level it. 
  • Keep in the refrigerator for a minimum 30 mins, after that take it out cut into pieces of required size and shape.


  • Incase you don't have almond butter, use coconut oil.
  • You can also use instant oats instead of Rice Krispies.
  • To make it nut free, add pumpkin seeds or sunflower seeds¬† and coconut oil.¬†
