Refreshing Peach Salsa Recipe with the sweet juicy fresh seasonal peaches. If you love Peaches, then this is a must try recipe this summer. Enjoy the Mexican flavours in this fruity Salsa Recipe.
It is a NO COOK, ZERO OIL, UNDER 20 MINS RECIPE. It is HEALTHY, GLUTEN-FREE, VEGAN FRIENDLY AND KIDS FRIENDLY.
This sweet spicy, juicy and a bit tangy salsa /salad is one of our family favourite. We love eating peaches or I love to use these in my baking, but this is another super delicious way to enjoy this stone fruit.
About the Recipe
Fresh Peach Salsa is another variation of fruit salsa recipe to enjoy on a hot summer day. Peaches, Green Apple, Red Pepper, Red Onion, Mango, Cucumber tossed together in a sweet and spicy lime and cilantro dressing.
I have omitted Jalapenos in the main recipe as my 10 yr old son can't tolerate much heat and hubby is also having some kind of intolerance to spicy food specially green chilies. Me and my daughter who love spicy food add some separately. You can add jalapenos or any other green chilli variety .
To keep some heat in the recipe, I have added chilli flakes. You can totally skip chillies if making for kids or add as preferred.

Ingredients to make Fresh Peach Salsa
The recipe is adaptable as per the availability of ingredients and no. of portions. This recipe is perfect for 2, you can adjust the ingredients as per the no. of people.
Fresh Peaches- Choose ripe and firm peaches. The skin should not be dry. Very soft peaches make the salsa soggy and very juicy/watery.
Green Apple- I love adding this to salads and various salsa. These not only add crunch but also a tangy juicy taste to salads.
Others- Red Bell Pepper, Red Onion, Cucumber, Cilantro/Fresh Coriander.
There was an overripe Raw Mango (which tasted sweet and a bit tangy) in my refrigerator. I also used added it to the recipe. You can add Mango or skip it if you don't have it.
Salsa dressing- Roasted Cumin Powder, Red Chilli Flakes, Sugar, Garlic Powder, Salt and Lime/Lemon juice.
What other fruits/Veggies can I add in Fresh Peach Salsa
Feel fresh to add any of your favourite summer fruit.
Strawberries/Kiwi or Pineapple gel up so well with the peach flavour.
You can also skip or add any of the colored Bell Pepper. I love using Red Bell Pepper in salads.
Cherry tomatoes or whatever variety of tomato you want. Avoid using very soft or juicy tomatoes, makes salsa very watery.
How to make Peach Salsa
To make seasoning, in a bowl mix together lemon/lime juice, chilli flakes, cumin powder and garlic powder.
Dice peaches into small pieces which are easily scoopable with nachos and chips. I do not like to chop peaches very finely as salsa gets too runny and lose the crunch and bite.
Chop all the other veggies into almost same size/small chunks and transfer to a mixing bowl.
Add the seasoning and mix nicely. Cover the bowl. Chilled salsa tastes much better.
Do not keep salsa overnight or 4-5 hrs before serving. When making for parties or get togethers, refrigerate the chopped fruits in an airtight container or covered with cling film. Do not add the dressing. Add it a about 1-2 hrs before serving.
Serving Suggestions
This is perfect to munch on with your favourite chips/nachos/on soft or crunchy tacos, or serve with main course as salad. It is perfect with grilled meats and vegetables like this Air Fryer Mushrooms , Cauliflower Tikka or Red Kidney Beans/Rajma or Chickpeas kebabs or cutlets.
You can make it a delicious party appetizer and serve in canapés or with salty crackers. Perfect for picnics or to enjoy with friends and family while watching your favourite movie or series.
Storing the leftovers
Freshly Salsa and salads taste best. If you have any leftovers, then refrigerate it in an airtight container and finish it the next day.
Please do not freeze salsa as the whole texture and crunch of the salad will be lost and also it won't taste good.
