Learn how to make Strawberry Cream, a mild, light and so delicious dessert with fresh strawberries and cream.

We love this Strawberry Cream, light and Creamy, easy and so quick to make. Fresh strawberries marinated in jam(orange marmalade and strawberry jams) served with cream.

When strawberries are in season, this is a perfect dessert to make the best use strawberries. A no fuss recipe that has two main ingredients and needs no cooking or no whipped cream.

Strawberry Cream Recipe

This is another recipe that I learned from my Masi(maternal aunt) checkout my kids favorite Eggless, Gelatin-free Chocolate Pudding. My masi makes Mix Fruit cream, using Amul cream with a variety of fruits like oranges, grapes, apples and strawberries. This recipe Strawberry Cream may sound similar to the famous Mahabaleshwar's Strawberry Whipped Cream , but is different from it. Mahabaleshwar is a small hill station near Mumbai Maharashtra(India) famous for its Strawberries in winters months from Dec-Feb. There is an popular outlet which serves it's popular dessert made with fresh seasonal strawberries and whipped cream.

In my recipe of Strawberry Cream, we use Amul Cream(available in India) and not whipped cream that is used in the famous Mahabaleshwar's Strawberry Cream .

In US we don't get Amul Cream so Heavy Whipped Cream(without whipping) to make fruit cream or strawberry Cream.

How to make this Strawberry Cream

It takes only 3-4 simple and easy steps to make this delicious dessert.

Wash and cut strawberries, mix in the jams and lemon juice or orange juice and keep it covered in refrigerator for at least 30 mins. You can keep it for long also, but do not keep it for a day as strawberries will the texture. Add cream before serving and see everyone drool over it.

Pic of strawberries mixed with cream is missing .. will update soon.

Pointers for make perfect Strawberry Cream

  • Use fresh strawberries and chilled cream.
  • Add castor sugar around 2 tbsp or as per your taste if you are not adding jams or marmalade.
  • Add sugar or jam and lemon juice with strawberries and not at the time of serving the dessert. Sugar extracts the juices from the fruit and enhances the taste.
  • In place of orange marmalade you can also add finely chopped candid orange peel or simply, orange zest.
  • Use fine raw sugar or castor sugar as it is much easier to dissolve. O, if you have thick sugar(granules) powdered the sugar and add.

So grab some boxes of fresh Strawberries before the season ends and try this delicious and so easy to make Strawberry Cream recipe and see everyone drool over it.

It is one of the perfect dessert to end a special meal in a special way!! A hit among the kids as well the grown-ups!! One of the best desserts for those who like fruit based desserts.
